Yep......$300.

I countered with 478,000,000 and a ferrari.

There will always be a nob behind every door.

Yes, they may have been a no(o)b but to be fair to them there is no minimum bid set and no premium renewal fee listed

I'm with SKG on this one and have added this information on both my premiums listed at Sedo - if you don't want the $300 bids then its something to consider.

I think I would rather keep the Ferrari and give back their $30k tip. :p
Hope you would not actually sell IT.tv for just only $30k !

And you have decide for yourself how to count in your mind the super super super premiums like sports.tv which are regged for $150-$200K PER YEAR

I have a reported sale at NameBio.com for Golf.tv at $600,000

I have a date of 2003 for this sale. Although this may not be accurate as no confirmation has been produced.

No,

You are right Argos, I (we I should add, this is a jointly owned name) would not sell this name for $30k ..........it would have to be in the region of $100K+ for the level of risk we took on in buying the name.

There were three main risks involved.

1. The high premium price we paid upfront.
2. The chance that if not sold within the number of years paid upfront, we either have to spend dev money or continue paying the premium fee.
3. The risk in buying a premium name of this quality means that we are assuming that the buyer will be an end user who is prepared to pay the high annual premium rates along with the one off fee to buy the name.....

These three points amount to a risky investment by any standards..and for that risk, $30,000 (divided by two) just doesnt cut it.......

I am happy though to see that IT.TV has tshot up in the number of visits to the parked page since the beginning of Feb of this year, from round 10/15 a day to 50/75 a day now, with most of the traffic coming from Italy.......so maybe TRAFFICO.TV was a good buy!!

I hear you CAMBKEY .......I may add to the commentary in the near future spelling out that this name commands a premium....and needs to be taken into consideration when making the offer.....
