Hello,i am almost starter on site building.I choose to build a social network, because i like the idea.I have established http://gayallchat.com using oxwall script. It's my baby concept.I use 2 monetization methods, adsense and amazon affiliates by now.We grow almost 1-2 new members per day.I wanna ask you if i have good possibilities to see my site get bigger and finally have good net profit ($300-$500).Can anyone give me some tips to improve the site? Thank you!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
For a community you have to build activity and engagement, you really need to build up momentum over 6 - 12 months before you even worry about monitizing the community. Your niche, Gay, will be very loyal and profitable if you create a safe and fun environment for them. You might want to take a look at http://www.socialengine.com/ for a more advanced platform.

I agree with namenetwork. You will want to win their loyalty and trust and not deceive them in receiving it. Because this niche is often repulsive to the general public, those who are involved will gravitate toward somewhere safe and helpful to their cause but, also a place to relax and have fun. Do not worry about making money off of Adsense or Amazon right now. You should work on getting more membership and probably spending money, advertising and getting the word out. Once your active membership is high enough you can inquire with specific advertisers within the niche and negotiate much more lucrative forms of income.
