In April, we published the news that the valuable two-letter .COM domain name HH.com had sold. Since then, the legal firm that owned the name has been in the process of transferring data to a new domain.

This week we received notification that the firm had changed their email and website details from HH.com to HeckerLaw.com. It's likely that we will see the domain move to China in the coming weeks.

Here's this week's Top Topics.

Is ReCaptcha Killing Domaining?

Many companies that provide WHOIS lookup services such as GoDaddy give this information out freely with one caveat. You will need to complete a ReCaptcha form before viewing the information.

ReCaptcha is a form of verification to ensure that the intended viewer of the information is a human rather than a automated script that is trying to scrape the data.

If you perform many WHOIS lookups, it can become an arduous process. This discussion argues that ReCaptcha forms may be affecting domain investing since it can be viewed as another hurdle for end users to overcome before attempting to make contact with you.

Do you agree?

Domain Name Riddles

This one is just for fun. Domainer @Dave started to write domain related riddles this week.

A riddle is essentially a word based puzzle in which the combination of words will help you to work out the intended meaning. The domaining riddles allow participants to work out which domain is being referred to each time.

Can you solve any?
