GoDaddy Lease-to-Own Breach of Contract
The buyer of an LTO-sold domain let GoDaddy know in advance their credit card had expired, 7 months into the payment plan. Expecting that their contract would be honored, he made payment on the day of the grace period's expiration—just a few hours too late, however. Seller refuses to give me a price, unless I make an offer that they'll refuse?
Upon inquiring about a domain's asking price, a potential buyer was told by Afternic's broker that a minimum offer was required. That price, however, would never be accepted—it only served as some odd type of qualification bid leading up to the disclosure of the higher asking price. The buyer finds that logic to be flawed and explains his reasons why.
