How Many of You Are Domaining Full Time?

Within the domain industry, thousands operate a domain investment business as a side hustle, and hundreds more have transitioned to making a full-time living from domain names.

What Should I Do With This Parked Domain?

Domain name parking, the practice of displaying ads on your inactive domains to generate revenue, has gone out of fashion. This is primarily thanks to the low income generated from domain parking compared to the early 2000s.

Some investors do still make money from parking, though. In this scenario, an investor made $78 from parking one domain name in 2021, but is there something else that can be done with a parked domain to make it more profitable?

This week, it was revealed that Yuga Labs recently secured a domain name upgrade, switching from YugaLabs.io to simply Yuga.com.

My Domaining Journey Update

Domain investing can be one of the most challenging side hustles or professions out there. The solitary nature of domaining combined with potentially sporadic sales and costs involved can mean that it’s easy to get disheartened or quit the industry entirely.

This is what one domainer is experiencing. After three years in the industry, this investor is ready to leave domain investing. As ever, other domainers have offered their advice, with plenty of sound guidance given.
