What I'm saying is with Bodis, you only rely on 'type in' traffic, but with a registrar like uniregistry, you can set up a nice lander with inquire or buy now and still have your names in the marketplace.

I don't see the benefit of Bodis over Uniregistry for example who can track parking etc anyway ;)

Because almost all endusers visit the necessary domain directly...
It doesn't depend on platform at all... you may even use your own page...
At ParkingCrew I have the same amount of inquiries as with Bodis...

I saw even $32K sale of domain which wasn't even parked... totally unresolvable.

p.s. If the domain is quality - they will find you even under the ground...

All these so-called "sale platforms" exist just to grab your money... up to 20%... some kind of parasites...

I have had that experience with Afternic too, but I had not focused as much on domain sales for a few years, but then I got a broker at Above.com, and their landers have resulted in a lot of decent offers. Not saying they all are vary high, but I have had more offers since using Above's lander for a month two than I had in the last 5-10 years.

I think the owner of Bodis (@matt_bodis) is a member here, you can look him up and ask.

This is a style of selling which is aimed on making impression that you don't sell. It may result with lower number of inquiries (close to zero) and loosing some potential buyers. But when you finally sell, the revenue is likely to be extraordinary. It's a style of selling a'la RS.
Recommended for truly premium domains only. Low quality domains will likely remain unsold forever selling this way.

How do you setup landers in above.com? I've been unable to figure this out and their help section is terrible. Would appreciate your help in this matter.

Contact the broker ([email protected]), if he thinks you have names he can sell, he will take you in as a client, but here is how it is done:

Go to the Monetization tab, then to Folders, create a new folder, he told me to call my brokered names "Brokered", and then h told me to change the settings to 100% and to have them go to a lander. You can have them all go to another source too, but that is how the settings work... Right now I am having trouble with their system though.

    Error

Sedo and Moniker marketplaces are indeed good, yet not the only places to sell a domain. DomainBrothers.com has expertise not only in acquiring domains, but also development, marketing, strategy creation & consultation. The advantage is to leverage the popularity of that kinds of services in hope that someone will find your domain and buy/make an offer.
