auctions Big Day for 5N .com's on GoDaddy Yesterday

NameSilo
A normal day on GoDaddy Auctions tends to find 3 to 6 five-number .com auctions ending, but yesterday, there were 58 of them. We have the closing prices for you. This data is not listed anywhere else.

These names were not registered two years ago like many we see expire. These names for the most part were 13 year old domains, registered not for the China factor but rather zip codes.

The names were under privacy for years and going back it looks like the registrant was lease domains inc.

Just data to help you buy and sell 5N.coms. That's what all reported sales are for

What's the take away from this?

You can take away that it's very good to be Go Daddy keeping all that auction revenue. I kid. It is just data, and it has some value, 36608 vs 36609 that one number resulted in 3 times the price.

Where do you see the 6n market heading? Do you think the floor will hit $50-$100 on those in 2015?

if you have 888 in 6n and its without 4 , market is already seen $50-$100 mark.
Further Repeating Numbers have very good demand right now..

I would argue that the auctioned list is worth more than the "sold" prices, due to the flood of inventory.

What about "double repeating numbers" without the 4, such as a 123356.com? (Note: I don't own that one, but own hundreds with double repeating numbers, without "4"

Prices will go up when 5n domains stop dropping.

Almost All dropped 5N are caught by NameJet, SnapNames,...and straight to private auctions (DropCatch .com offers public auction), close prices tend to be North of $500 (WO 4) & North of $250 (W 4)
