BackOrderZone.com?

Does anyone know anything about BackOrderZone.com? I can't find much out about them from their website or whois. Who is behind this website?

Has anyone tried them? Can they compete against NameJet/SnapNames/Reberry? How much are their backorders?

I'm reluctant to give them my credit card info just when signing up. I think they could at least register me first so I could try them out. Then if I try to backorder something with blank credit card info, they send me there to complete it.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
They beat one domain that I backordered at namejet & snapnames.

they are increasingly beating the usually trio of drop catchers and have lower backorder prices.

their site is however still very basic with lack of several features and information about their company.

use a virtual/temporary Credit Card.

Just a phone number that could be a skypein or answering machine.
No corporate identification :|
At least the whois is not on privacy but doesn't help much.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is the intrust crooks buying themselves a clean slate.

also note that they are now testing a new auction format where every auction starts at 0. if you do do not buy credits the final price will be $49 PLUS the auction final price.

It's not clear for me. How did you link them to NameBind.com?

Just a guess, but through their digital certificate.

A certain Poghosian Argam signed the incorporation documents in capacity of Registered Agent.

But in fact he seems to be owning and operating the web of registrars associated to namebind: bellnames dropwalk etc

dropwalk.com now redirects to Epik that bought the registar operations of intrust domains.

The dots are now connected.

Call them and tell them what you think: +1-719-694-4022

intrust domains = namebind = bellnames etc
= spammers = scammers

Icann should terminate their accreditation.

Anybody in Colorado ?

It seems that the website at www.mpisoft.com has changed a little.
Now it's only showing toll-free numbers instead of their phone number:

I'm being spammed relentlessly from domains that appear to be associated with these guys. As fast as I can block them, I receive another email from a new domain they appear to own. A selection of domains I've recently received spam email from:

cbfish.com
grantedrecords.com
mocorpinc.com
modularhomesecrets.com

All of these have the following whois (as posted above):

Administrative Contact:
admin_org: BellNames Privacy Protection Service
admin_name: Whois Agent
admin_email: (insert domain here)@bnprivate.com
admin_address: 6050 Stetson Hills Boulevard
admin_city: Colorado Springs
admin_state: CO
admin_zip: 80923
admin_country: US
admin_phone: 888-286-3417

Yes, they keep using throwaway domain names and switch hosting at a very quick pace to evade blocking and bad reputation.

bellnames is one of the registrars owned by the scammers (they own a dozen).
I have brought the matter to Icann, feel free to do the same.
These people must sink like registerfly 8-X

Bellnames...almost put their head on a Wanted poster due to the daily amount of spam I receive.

and their backorder system is very transparent.

only gets to show the last 15 bids or so in an auction and there is NO auction history. every auction or backorder shows as "Missed"

buhu.

Guess what, still not a peep from Icann.

Just found out about backorderzone the hard way. They beat NJ and Snap on a certain domain I wanted. Seems interesting that there were more backorders for the domain at backorderzone than NJ.

just be careful when bidding on them because by default you are bidding on top of a now "hidden" $49 starting backorder

Yes I noticed that. Your backorder credit is deducted if you win and you also pay your bid amount.
