showcase Showcase Your Brandable (5L) LLLLL.com Domains

I know there are fair few people on here investing in 5 letter brandable .com domains, including myself. :hehe:

Really Good Short Brandable domains are a rarity. IMHO these domains will have a higher profit margin for resellers, than 4L.coms that make no sense other than for use as an acronym for a company. Some may disagree. :hehe:

The only problem here is of course finding the end user for such domains. I will be shortly releasing a new site that focuses on selling brandable 5 Letter domains (with a subscriber list including many investors), that any one may list their domains on for free, so stay tuned i'll post about it later when its up.

For now though, enough free advertising :hehe:-, showcase your domains:

Here are some, to kick start this thread:

1. Kazom.com

2. Yemor.com

3. Mazry.com

4. Kolpy.com

5. Zabow.com

6. Carts.co.nz

I think a word of caution might be in order here.

Yes 5 Letter .coms are 'cool' 'hip' 'pronounceable' but we must remember - they are only valuable if you get an end user. Traffic is not much on most - though on some names, you'd be surprised.

Don't make them a huge part of the portfolio, keep it sane, 5Ls will be around for way longer than 4L was and are not even worth as much as LLLL.com without development.

Thats true.. BUT

You can always be the potential end user also if you are a developer :p

Snase.com is preety nice IMO.

thank you. it actually gets some traffic, not much but some, and CTs (made $1.35 parked i think) have had offers of $25 and $22 but then buyers decide not to buy for some reason. do you think i should hold it? what do you think is current fair reseller value?

thanks,

Mike

I will agree with you here.

Obviously I love 5L, i think they have the best ROI in the long run.

Most of mine do not get much type in traffic, but them plimp(.)com is getting over 1,000 uniques per month and of course generating a good amount in PPC.

That is why i have a large portfolio of "Two Word Generic" 5L.coms, Short and Memorable, Yet still very brandable.

Being two generic word in five letters, Should be appealing to end users, Imo, But i am not selling them, so

But i reg a lot of just very brandable 5L.coms as well.

hehat also seems to be a foreign word. But I think aside from hats would be just a cool 'blog name' doesn't really make any sense but sounds and looks hip is all that matters for a blog and catchy

One thing "i wouldn't do", Is buy 5L.coms "That Sound Like", Many did that in the 4L.com market, And will find out, It may not sound like to potential buyer, what it " sounds like to the owner.

Agree with that, they would have to be a pretty clear copy to be of value, when I mean clear I mean real clear, like flight = flyte if it is not that clear, do yourself a favor and keep searching, preferably not for look alike names!

Thanks raredn,

I myself, do not expect 5L.coms to make a real presence in the industry for at least a couple of more years, But you never know, There are indeed a lot of 5L.coms, As the 4L.com lovers will say. But by going with two generic words, you really can't go wrong,Imo,

The name has nice development potential, If it contains two generic words, And is definitely short, having two generic words in only 5 letters.

I took a real liking to 5L.coms about two years ago, and just started regging all the two word generic 5L.coms i could, So i guess i more collect them than anything, But i have had great fun regging them, And :xf.love: my 5L.com Portfolio.

yes, I have also grabbed two generic word 5 letter domains when they have popped up, but decent made up names seem to sell for the same price. I don't like to have names that don't have immediate 'now' value, I am not a wait years kind of guy, with very selective choices profits can be made here and now in the 5 letter market

No Question about it, raredn, The very nice "Highly Brandable" 5L.coms, are selling, at good prices as well, for fresh regges.

I saw a run of the mill, what i would call, a "Mid" level 5L.com sell for $120 yesterday, So flipping them is definatly a good option for resellers.

Yes, this is why 5 letters are good when you have the right ones that people want, I think this makes the 5 letter hunt all the more challenging

anyone got any stats re how many lllll coms are taken % wise?
I guess he has to be quite low right now

By my rudimentry calculations there are almost 12MM possible combinations. There are only around 65MM total .coms taken. So it is low I am guessing.

My possibly flawed math: 26 * 26 * 26 * 26 * 26 = 11,881,376 combos
