With the amount of new members and new money flowing into domaining everyday, I'd say there aren't enough :imho:

LLLL.net already seems to be repeating LLLL.com in the way names are being regged.. Look how many starting letter A's are regged in comparison to B

There are many who missed the boat in LLLL.com and now this is your chance to get your LLLL.net collection

LLLL.net are being sold all over the place for descent amount and I can only imagine price going up in the near future.

As Reece stated..it's only a matter of time.

Now don't get me wrong here. I certainly am not recommending anyone start buying XJQV.net or something like that at this point in the game... What I'm recommending is that there are many gems still unregged.

Something like: DASR.net (available as of my scan) is a much better long term investment imho than any random CCC.net...

There are many reason why LLLL.net is a good investment. Look at L-L-L
the .com are sold out and I've been noticing that both l-l-l.net and l-l-l.info are being registered and some are being sold here at NP. I actually prefer LLLL than L-L-L due to the fact that no hyphen is much easier to type in. Recently the sales of these nice LLLL.net are increasing. When you look at the some sales of LLLL.net in this forum you'll noticed that they are being bought in $xx range.

I guess the answer to those who doesn't see the value in this is YES. But for me and some others who see the future of LLLL.net... i could only speak for myself and my answer is ...I just like to shop early that's all.

Think ahead of the pack, that's what I say. I've already begun picking up good pronounceable LLLL.net. Hell, at $5.75/reg you don't lose anything also if they are available. Not worth boo-hooing in 2 years for the really good ones available.

I think these people who came too late in the LLLL.com countdown.

I will not be suprised if all LLLL.net/org/info/ gone by 2008 . but this will only benefit the LLLL.com value. however those LLLL.net/org/info/ investors will have to face some serious loss after one year. Unless they are ready to renew for at least another 4 Years until these domains will have a decent value.

IMO, CVCV.net/org/info (especially the premium ones) will be the easiest to flip.


Don't get me wrong .. I'm a LLLL.com holder. i believed in it and still do. but There is a price gap between .com and any other tld. you should always think about that in any buy/sell you willing to do.

.COM trend is always up. Howover some of the other major tlds losing their momentum by the time. Especially the ".net" .. Also like how strongly .info right now than before.

All what i care about, people (especially new members) should Learn from other's mistakes. Think, search, analyze, study before any investment you willing to do.

Yeah, I don't doubt the value of the good usable LLLL.coms, the ones I tried to get in the drops all went for $2,000 >>way up

I still don't think they will run out anytime soon so if the .coms don't what chances has the .nets ?

But regarding llll.net 's in general, I think a great thing is missed here end users. Wil there be end users for llll.net 's. End users prefer the .com. If the .com is not for sale or if it is for sale for let's say $500, and the end user does not want to pay that much for it, how much would he offer for the same .net?

Where are the endusers on CCC.coms I ask of you? And no, last time I checked, there weren't 47k people who wanted short domains in .com and hence ponied up $200+ .

I am not recommending people go out and reg ZQVJ.net, like I might have in .com

But in the long run, I certainly think something like ESLR.net (another available one) could be worth as much as ZQVJ.com. To say otherwise is short-sighted imho.

Hunt for the premiums here... Not the junk. Save that for .com :imho:

Premium letter LLLL.net's where the .com is developed (hence a motivated buyer cannot get it), and that stands as acronym for multiple things are ok, especially if one is domaining in a pro active mode.

Understood Totally agree with that.. Definitely not encouraging anyone to throw their money away on ZQVJ.net (although it has some nice Namepros backlinks now I bet with all the times I mentioned it lol!).

CVCV - definitely.

I haven't really researched the other markets yet.. Maybe someone can provide a more detailed answer to your question. Many CVVC still left, as well as CVVV and CCCV.

Hardly. Refer to the first post for stats on how many are registered. IMHO, premium LLLL.nets are at least as good an investment as premium LLLLL.coms...

LLLL.net versus LLLLL.com?

It's a perfectly legitimate investment imho and the sales listed earlier show that there certainly is interest in high quality LLLL.nets.

Anyway, the list is now up for letters D-F.

edit: As for Dubai, Abu Dhabi (is that how you spell it?) and all that.. While I haven't invested in them (I missed the boat big time on good names there), I really recommend reading up on it on Wikipedia. Absolutely fascinating some of the future and current developments going on there :imho:

Im going to go ahead and play the devils advocate in this discussion. I think investing in LLLL.net's is dangerous at best. The difference between .com and .net is the same different that continues to put .net pricing at roughly 1/10th of that of .com.

I think we all need review as to why LLLL.com's had become so popular. With companies being created daily, and no generics .com's available - they were often forced to use acronyms for their web presence. Domainers recognized the value in these short domains years ago when LLL.com's were gobbled up. Considering that represents roughly 17,000 domain names - it was simply a matter of time before LLLL.com's filled that need.

Now with 400,000 ish LLLL.com's companies have quite a bit of options, and can typically find one with a reasonable price... How many companies do you know that would be happy with an LLLL.net?

All of you must put yourself in the position of the company your hoping to sell to (end-user).... Would you buy it?
