This domaining sector offers potentially larger returns than traditional revenue or traffic based domain names, however with this investment opportunity comes extravagant risk.

Would a million be enough

If .nets were $5 each, then i suppose this could happen.

Lol, maybe google should spend their pocket money on buying all llll.net's, and then making a great roi off them. Just imagine the number of end-users with 200K domain names

I don't need the buyout, imho after February we'll see a sharp raise in quad premium and collectible prices.

If you look closely you'll notice something even more curious... You can't find quad premiums under $9 atm (if anyone has those I wanna buy another 20 :p), which means over 25% profit in 6 months... :)

After we pass the LLLL.com anniversary and the quad premium .Net anniversary we'll see a nice price jump. At least imho... :)

(for now I'll just hold to a few hundreds and buy a few more)

That is good news. I didn't know that. :D

Even true with f/g/h ("worse letter") quad premiums?

Grabbed it immediately. Thanks again, Glabnet! Unfortunately...

Got a good laugh today. Had an offer made from Fabulous for one of my LLLL.nets. $500 but after I picked myself off the floor and on checking found the .com parked, no other major extensions reg'd and the return email is one of those junk web.de things all pointed to a prankster.

Deleted the email, drank a cool one, had a good chuckle and now going on down the road.

Why would you laugh at a $500 offer in the first place? :o

I feel that there is a significant chance that the offer may have been genuine.
Many buyers inquire from free email accounts and they may have decided to offer for your .net for whatever reasons (.com owner was not willing to sell to them, they knew the .com would've been too expensive for them, or whatever).

I wouldn't have deleted the email right away, dismissing it as a prank. :(

Usually I reply to emails like that:
U can make offers to domain through Sedo.

uask is pretty nice but probably not much resell value in this market.

I picked up tztt.net recently for reg fee.

UASK is awesome!
If I had the time I'd develop it if I gad it, seriously.

You ask! Sooooo brandable...

Who cares?

Perezhilton.com doesn't pass the test either, still he makes $50k+ per day in advertising. :p

LOL! Must be some interference in my antenna! :D

Flickr doesn't
Orkut Doesn't

ICQ Doesn't, sorry... it's the same as UASK :D

The problem is not only the radio test IMHO, it's also "how brandable can it be"

all of those are .com's....

Also with enough money ue7he.org is brandable. ;)

Once again I can't agree, Radio Test is not the factor, or at least the factor itself, being it .com or .net

UASK means simply You Ask
ICQ means Simply I Seek You

.net or .com doesn't really make a lot of a difference, if the guys from ICQ have chosen the .net extension they'd have the exact same success... IMHO that is.

Just think of del.icio.us

icio.us is useless if you me and not easy to pass the radio test, still... :)

if uask.net was that great it wouldn't of been available for handreg way after the drop time, lol.
