If you can not be bothered then its basically .co.in has been the extension for India for quite sometime, Millions of Indians have yahoo.co.in email address's , Google use google.co.in as does yahoo prefers the .co.in extension etc etc It is the prefered indian extension for now.

I mainly register .co.in . I think maybe 10% of my India domains are .in's. I liked this one. I regged it today. Funny thing though, again with an India domain, it is showing a Page Rank of 2 on www.urltrends.com. Does anyone know why? Another glitch? Any comments?

Hi Aldwin,

It is better if you can reg both my friend, i am and was stating the .co.in is the main domain of India at present, the .in extension will catch up in popularity but in time.

A lot of the serious .in and .co.in investors like myself have invested heavily in .co.in aswell.
