I am new to the forums here and discovered the site after receiving a "I want to buy your domain email" - I suspected it was fraudulent, but googled the name and came across your site with info about the appraisal scams.

I work with VoIP (including Asterisk Servers + SIP trunking) and provide VoIP / IT services to smaller businesses.

Recently, I decided to start selling some of my domains, as I registered several I never really used. Currently using Sedo for sales. In the past, I have been contacted by parties wanting to buy domains I owned and was using, but the price was never right to offset the loss of the site (content) on the domains (aviation + travel sites).

More recently I have expanded upon my domain collection and believe I have a few interesting ones. Will have to see what happens.

Last, I am not sure if sedo parking is the best place to park the domains. I was thinking of creating simple parking pages with useful content (and links) and running my own ad's.

MiniSites are great and used by many domainers, as are simple landing or for sale pages.
Though inundated with names, Sedo, Afternic and GoDaddy are all fine places to sell.
