Joined to post a bunch of domains

Hello to everyone,

I just joined because FridemarPache mentioned this site in a post. I have a whole bunch of domain names that will likely expire before I can develop them all. I will be posting them in the place allowed -- not sure where.

If anyone sees this before I get back here, I would be obliged if they could point me to the right place to post domain names for sale and/or any rules. I have about 800 or so names that I would like to sell.

I own a little company that has been working on 'web stuff' for more than a decade. This was one of four 'pillars' of income to keep my company safe from the vagaries of fortune. The company has been around since 1992, but the last five years have been particularly challenging. I would not have made it if I had not branched out. Even though the 'web stuff' has been the weakest pillar, it is consistent (if small) and has grown 'organically' from word of mouth. It is the main focus of the company going forward and has been for some time.

I *am* rather active in cyberspace, though until recently I have used pseudonyms for most things. However, my participation here will likely be limited for now, just because I have so much other stuff on the go.

I am very curious to see if there is any real market here. Though I have been pestered a lot over the years to spend a fortune on domain names similar to ones I own (I have not taken the bait), I have *never* received a realistic offer on any domain name. I tried putting names up on sedo at one point, but they charge more than I would for most of my domains.

Anyone who wants to do business at some point in the future may find it helpful to know that when I speak of the value of things like domain names, I speak the truth as far as I know it, rather than what I *wish* were true or what I want you to believe. I generally do some leg work to find out what that truth might be. The company has done years of research to find out what is hot and what is not. Sadly, it is all mostly *not*. However, there are some things that can be done to make a buck with your stuff. You just have to sing for your supper (or lunch).

There are different areas of sale depending on if you wish to start an auction or have a fixed price or make an offer.. Im sure you will find your way around if not.. shout..
