Shivering in Sheffield

Hi Folks

Just joined the forum. I'm Jon, in Sheffield, UK... and it's freeeezing today!

Been building websites since the 90's, off and on. My "dayjob" is a business-partner in Beauty Salon Marketing (see link in my signature). One of the reasons for joining is that I'm just getting into affiliate marketing and looking for ways to monetize the traffic we're getting.

The other reason for joining is that I'm just learning about domaining. I have made what seems to be a classic newbie mistake - maxed out the credit card regging lots of new domains, before realising it's all about aged domains! D'oh!

So I'm keen to learn ways to turn my mistake around and start developing some of those names that seemed so wonderful at the time

Anyway, enough waffle, thanks for reading if you made it this far!

Welcome to NamePros - it is just as cold a bit further north - I work in Newcastle and live near Chester-le-Street (halfway between Newcastle and Durham).
