Hello all, I had someone install a forum for me, I am having trouble login in as admin (i can login and post etc...) but cannot become the "admin" to start new topics delete topics etc... all the main stuff. this is the message i get "You must have administrative access to successfully log into the Invision Board Admin CP. Please enter your forums username and password below ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/website-development/99746-ipb-forum-help.html Your current IP address does not match the one in our records" (It shows me as logged in as admin then i get the error above) I have contacted invision but wanted to maybee get some help faster. The person who installed the forum done a great job and he can login using the details for admin. Is there an easy way to get round this. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks for looking.

![]() ![]() ![]() | http://tools.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/4295 Download that, upload it into your root IPB folder, go to its URL and insert your member number (should be 1). Then see if it works... Don't forget to delete the script! |

Hello all, thanks for your help,i got the problem solved. It was something to do with an "ip range file" which had to be modified/removed. Thanks to nysmartscripts for pointing that out, and thanks to ammo for helping me. Thanks.
