Hello Chris,

I would visit www.pixel2life.com click on "HTML Tips" and look at those tutorials. I know a lot about HTML and CSS, if you ever have a question, please e-mail my company at scionstatic@gmail.com

I also suggest this book to start off with: "Sams Teach Yourself to Create Web Pages in 24 Hours" the Author is Ned Snell.

They also have some other great books! The link to their website is http://www.samspublishing.com

I highly recommend these books. If you want to know where to start, this is the book to get. It is very easily understandable. They move in small steps with screen shots for examples. The basic idea is to study 1 chapter for one hour. If you did this each day, you will gain a lot of HTML and webpage building knowledge in just 24 hours. This would be the best possible place to start, in my opinion.

I hope this helps you in your webpage building journey.

God bless,
David

P.S. Sam's Publish has a lot of books that will help out a great deal with what you choose to learn!

You need to start with creating your base. Go to your local book store and pick up some books. I'd recomend getting some basic html books along with some basic web design etiquette books (the HTML for dummies book is AWESOME).

Once you have your base set, go download a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) program like macromedia dreamweaver (don't use frontpage, you won't be able to make the more complex sites). Once you get here you could pick up a dreamweaver book, which would come in handy! Once you have dreamweaver installed and know how to use it's basic functions, START MAKING SITES!

THe best way to learn is to create them. You will learn by your own mistakes.

P.S. If you don't feel like spending the money on those books you can always do a google search for html/web design/dreamweaver tutorials. I would honestly recomend buying the books though.
