    | I can't really think of anything, it surely has been a while since i last used ASP.NET to be honest. PHP is the language of the web  If you're interested in finding alot of work online PHP should be the way to go first, of-course then you can also step into ASP.PHP is more widely used on the web and its open source, hosting can be from free-to-cheap. ASP.NET on the other hand could require a-little more resources, but that may not necessarily be the case "always". I would say both are good, but on the web PHP has more demand and support.
