What do you think of DimeDesign.us v3?

Hey NPers,

Just out of curiosity, what do you all think of my new design? The idea behind it is all of the pages are static except the Portfolio page. I made that page be an actual WordPress blog that posts the thumbnails just like that. Also the description and site name/title is all done with custom fields, so it's really easy to add new completed projects to my portfolio.

If anyone is interested in learning how to do this, if you have a little bit of coding skill already, I would be willing to teach you for a generously small fee.

DimeDesign.us v3 - Professional Web Development

Hope to hear some opinions soon!

This should really be in web design reviews.

Anyways, the design is appealing and soft. It doesn't have anything eye catching, just a good overall site. The thing that I don't like is the nav bar. The blurred rectangle behind the nav words just seems out of place or not natural. I also think the recent work image slider should be lower on the page, it seems a little out of place.
