Realistic Expectations with This!!

I plan on developing LearnHowToCook.net soon.

Although there is heavy competition for the keyword "learn how to cook", there are many relevant keywords that don't have much competition. For example:

"how to cook ribs"
"how to cook lamb"
"how to cook shrimp"
"how to cook turkey"

And many others....

So the question is regarding SEO: Is it worth developing it?? Just Content and Adsense....

You have a solid keyword/informational domain that is worthy of development imo. Whenever I have a good domain name in a competitive niche I focus on a sub niche to help increase my chances of traffic. I like your suggestions and would just focus on one first, let's say "how to cook shrimp." Once you start getting ranked well for that topic pick another to go after, and so on. Eventually your site will rank well for a few sub niches within the "Learn How to Cook" niche. At that point you can probably go up against some of the bigger sites with traffic because your resource will be highly relevant and have reputation within the eyes of search engines.

So, YES, it is worth developing. Monetizing it via adsense, affiliates, or perhaps amazon cook books may also be a good idea.

Jolin is an unknown quantity at this point

I can see that some of the keyword combination pay quite a lot of just a click. Well, it might be a tough competition out there but at least it's worthwhile developing. However, not sure on the conversion side and click through rate.
