**correction, I am guessing what I am looking for is the "like" button functionality on facebook. I want users to click a button if they support what im doing, and it count how many people have hit the button. Any help????**

looking to implement a poll on my site but its a little different. This poll i want to act as more like a tally if you wished to say "hey i have been here" but if you chose not to say that then you would not take part in the poll/tally.

I am not looking to see how many hits i am receiving, rather if you want to say you were here, i want to you click a button, which will in turn add the clicks together and display the % reult in a bar graph. It will have one bar.

the real implementation will ask a question like "do you support me?" and there will be a button which when clicked will add 1 to the poll total and display.

Anyone see anything like this or have any tutorials or scripts I could use?
