Question Windows Movie Maker - Help!!!

I need Help, and I believe It should be simple...
lol

I have a ton of pix 70 - 100.
I have a 3-1/2 minute song.

I loaded the pix in to Windows Movie Maker...
and no matter what I do, the pix always play twice as long as the song.

So, what my question is, is this...

There has to be a way where you add your song,
then NO MATTER how many pix you load...
It will divide them up into "equal increments" based on whatever the timeline is of that particular song,
to view all of them, and then end on the last note of the song, right???
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/website-development/593188-windows-movie-maker-help.html

I am clueless, but with all of the options I see that they offer,
I cannot imagine them NOT having some automatic pix fitting to the end of the song,
no matter how long the song, or no matter how many pix.

I hope I am clear with my question.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

if all you want to do is set photos to a musical background as a slide show, i suggest trying out google's Picasa.

it is free and has the ability to change the photo duration to fit your audio clip, so it shoudl do what you need.

try this link: Creating a Slide Show with Picasa 3

if it doesnt answer your questions, just google it or play around with picasa

Nasaboy,

Thanx alot, (Rep added)
I appreciate the link.
I have made the slideshow/video with music, and it runs perfectly on the program itself...
but when I upload it to You Tube it cuts the music off.
I believe it is being saved and uploaded as a wmv. file...
any ideas???
anyone???

Thank You.

if you play the wmv just alone (not through picasa), on your local computer - does the audio work properly?

youtube has been getting stricter about copyright on songs, so if it is a copyrighted song they may remove the audio (or something), in which case you'd need to find a different song or a different online host.
