I want to buy a reliable/prefessional blog script...any recommendations?

If your looking for a "blog" I suggest grabbing wordpress for free and then if you need changes find a programmer at a freelance site. It's extremely easy to customize, I'm running a blog, software review site and now a joke site all off of wordpress isntall I modified to some degree or another.

If your looking for more of a commercial articles/news style script you may want to google Virtuanews. It's pretty solid but it an be a little overwhelming at first.

I'm just assuming you have a webserver with PHP if not then I was probably of no help.

VirtuaNews in nice I used it for a bit, only issue I had was it was a bit hard to customize. For a real nice blogger I would suggest pLog or Wordpress.

Go for pLog for overall value (free and fine piece of work), MovableType (movabletype.org) for a commercial one.

I haven't used any blog programs aside from blogger.com, but I've heard MovableType is good. There's also a PC application you can use to automatically post to your blog. I think it's called wBlogger or something like that, not sure though since I haven't used it in a while.
