![]() ![]() | question about hotlinking and stats If I'm using a proxy template that say a lot of people have, will this make it to where a lot of my images will be hotlinked? And if so, will this show a lot of unique visitors from that than there really are? |

![]() ![]() | If you have a hosting with cpanel, check for the latest visitors logs. You will see who is hotlinking and what images are being affected. You can always prevent this, regarless if you have a proxy or not, by setting up a rewrite .htaccess rule to prevent bandwidth thievering. |

![]() ![]() | Ok thanks all. But I know something is fishy when I have this proxy going, because the thing says i'll have dang near 9,000 uniques in 1 day and then google analytics and adsense will show around 200 impressions and thats it. Then when my host suspended me I put it up on parked and some days it got around 500 visitors but thats the max. Does anyone know whats going on with this? |
