Just got done reading the 4 hour work week and Tim Ferris endorses elance.com for outsouring ur life.

Anybody have a review? Good/Bad/both? You thoughts are appreciated.

I say its good ... elance is doing a good job n0t bad at all

Maybe I had bad luck, tried it 3 times and all 3 times I wasted my money and had to hire someone else again to do things right. Kind of "you get what you pay for" on steroids. I mean, you can get really cheap stuff (and I'm not the one paying the most, but I don't trust low bidders either, I know the value of work) but AT LEAST IN MY EXPERIENCE I had to pay twice all 3 times. 2 times because they did something I could have done better and in much less time and once because they realized that they knew only half of what I needed. So I paid them and call it a day, will never use them again, after all, I can kick a stone on the floor and there are 1000 programmers under it.

elance is one of the worst places for hiring a honest and experienced individual... i also had bad experience with elance, and will never use their service again, as its flooded with NOOBS
