| The best method/software for compiling a successful ebook? A partner and I are in the process of establishing an ebook, so I would like to know for those of you who have, what method did you use to go about it? Did you use an ebook software? If so, which? Since I'm not a developer, I'm looking for it to be easy to use, and as automated as possible. We aren't interested in paying a developer, or giving away a percentage of profits, so this is our ONLY option. I've been to a few sites offering certain programs and software (ebookcompiler.com), and they all sound great. So what's the best!?
Your help is greatly appreciated |

| why don't you just get a program that prints pdfs. write the book in a word processor and then print. voila.

| Im not trying to print anything. I need to establish a sales page under a domain name, create the ebook in a pdf, set up a clickbank etc...I know you've all seen them. Here is one about flipping houses. My partner I'm working with is a real estate developer and he and I are putting together a niche ebook where his unique money making methods are exposed which are avoiding the the real estate "slump" here in the states. Just sort of a fun project we're doing to test the internet marketing waters. |

| actually, you do want to print something. when you create a pdf, it is essentially "printing" a pdf. go download a virtual pdf printer driver like dopdf.

| i think you misunderstood what he meant by "print".
there are free softwares out there where you can type up your article in a word processor (like MS Word) and then when you go to File->Print, you choose to print as a PDF (you don't even need a printer). it'll ask where you want ot save the document and you'll have basically made a pdf of your ebook.
i suggest bullzip: http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php |
