I am looking for a news management script (preferably free) that I can use to create a news portal. I purchased PHPCow last year but it was unbelievably confusing and half of the templates didn't work properly with the script (improper alignments, etc.).. so that's out of the question.
I'm looking for something with a feature for "Breaking News" topics where a main article is larger than the others on the homepage. Articles should be able to support pictures, too..
If anyone can recommend anything it would be appreciated. Rep added for all assistance
I was going to give Drupal a shot but the Wordpress news theme really grabbed my attention. I think I'll go with the Wordpress for now since it's exactly what I was looking for.
