A newbie with questions

Hello. I have a name (MiCarga.com) that is parked with Sedo. It receives 300-400 hits a month, but makes very little money. It used to be a health insurance site and a cargo shipping site. I am wanting to develope it myself. I am thinking about using GoDaddys WebSite Tonight program. I have a couple of questions. How do you keep track of the clicks and unique hits that your website gets? What would be the best way to monitize this site? I cannot tell if most the the traffic is related to people seeking the old insurance site or the transportation site? Should I use Google's adwords for my site or link with an separate company (like Allstate insurance)? What is more profitable? If I went with a seperate company, how would I keep track of my hits? I appreciate any info that you can give me. I will give rep to all.

Maybe try parking at namedrive, better landing pages than sedo. Also as it is receiving a few hundred hits a month ( very high compared to mine

you can ask for advice on keywords and layout, from namedrive guys etc.
Noticed a lot of google links, with other sources of your domain name, ?? Transport insurance, health .....etc.
sedo pages are terrible at showing up in google etc.

Parked.com! Pays twice a month. I get much higher RPC than on ND. Check out this thread, it's long but worth the read.

With Parked you can see the source of traffic and keywords used. You can see what it is and Parked will use it to auto optimize your parked page. Parked pages rank high in search engines too.
