· #1 | | New Member | Question on Development Tools As a nontechnical newbie, what tools should I consider for developing my first basic web site using a web hosting service? Lunarpages gives you something called Coffee Cup, and I have read about phpwebsite, joomla, etc. Any suggestions for getting started would be appreciated. |

| it really depends on what you want. if it is a simple html site, none of the above are needed. just a plain text editor such as note pad really. |

· #3 | | New Member | I want a simple, easy to use tool, preferrably integrated into the web hosting company. WYSIWYG is strongly preferred.
Also, anyone know of a site that lists web sites by development tool used to develop the site? |

Then, I would get FireFox and install FireBug (FireFox Plug-in).
Load up your page in firefox, press F12, click enable firebug, click inspect and start learning the wonders of CSS! |
