| My arcade I'm looking for any and all suggestions for my arcade, yarrt.com.
It's completely custom coded, because at the time I started it (over 2 years ago), I didn't know any arcade scripts existed, so I can add or change pretty much anything.
I have a poll occasionally, for users to vote on new features, but that's pretty limited when it comes to general improvements.

| I'm always slightly angered when I visit arcade sights and there are no games on the front page (not necessarily games, but graphic links at least). Your page was especially disappointing in that the first thing I saw was a form, and thought "Oh man, it's one of those register to play arcades," but in fact, it was just your tell a friend form.
In my opinion, the tell a friend should only be below features, so you aren't mislead or bothered, but rather if you scroll down after playing a cool game, you might actually email a friend about it.
In regards to the frontpage I think you should ad a sort of portal, where you put tidbits of your entire site, maybe a random game, a random video, and links to all the other features that would stand out more than your nav bar which is kind of swallowed by the advertisements.
Also, I think it would be a better idea to place your defilter and image hosting scripts in an iframe that would load inside your template rather than having a seperate page design. It gives you the feeling that you've been forced away from the site.
Anyways, I believe it is a very well rounded mix of utilities all in one site, and if you can combine them all it would be a smash.
Good luck. |

| Well, i've given the defilter and image hosting the same design as the rest of Yarrt, i've put image links on the index page, and added a random game/video thing.
I also made the text bigger, and the navigation more obvious and less cramped.
Any other suggestions?

| Well I have to say that was rather quick, and I believe it just presents itself as a much more lively site now. Great work, perhaps someone else can offer you some further criticism. |
