Sub Domains

Hello,

I was just wondering how I setup sub domains I think it is called where the domain would look like this:

www.forums.domain.com

Instead of using something like:

www.domain.com/forums

Most of the time, whoever your host is, should have type of web panel or administrative panel or something along those lines. You should be able to find some sort of menu option that says the phrase Add New Subdomain or something along those lines.
When you have the subdomain set up something like forums.domain.com would be pointing to the domain.com/forums folder in most cases.

Most good web hosts should supply free sub domains, pointer domains and parked domains for free.

In your control panel, look for something like "Domain Manager". It should only take a few minutes.

I recently had to fire a web host cause they want $1 per month per each sub-domain. Criiiiikey.
