I am attempting to develop my first site and I would appreciate any insight that you experts may have. I am going to use Front Page 2002. How do make the index (to your additional pages) appear on the left side of your sight. Thank you in advance.

It sounds like you're just starting out. If you want a menu of links to other pages of your site on the left-hand side of the page, you'll need to create either a table or css div (probably too much for you right now). Create a table with 1 row and 2 columns, place the menu in the left column, content on the right.
I think this is what you are getting at. | |

No offense but FrontPage 2002 is not the best tool to use if you are starting to create webpages. The main reason is because Frontpage likes to throw in a bunch of useless code that only makes sense to Microsoft products. If yo can get your hands on Dreamweaver, even and older version, I think you will fair much better. | |

| You might also consider taking a look at NVU (nvu.com).
It's not perfect but it's free, gets the job done with out all the additional coding and I suspect it's at least on par with FP 2002.
By the way, you might want to track down some free website templates so you can play with them and study their coding in order to learn and understand how they work. Start with basic html templates and once you grasp them you can consider trying your hand at css templates, but don't be in a hurry.
Learn at your own pace and don't be afraid to make mistakes!
