Is there something that makes sites like poker.com?
I was crusing the web the other night and I was curious what the heck a $24 million website looks like so I went to poker.com! I actually like the layout and yet it does not seem like there was that much much work put into it.
It makes me wonder if some sort of program or layout program created it. Does anybody know? I was thinking it would be cool to have different websites if I could get a layout auto generated that looked somewhat close.
I looked at poker.com before too and I was surprised because it's just a simple html file (not counting the blog, etc). You could do this with any html editor (like Dreamweaver or even Frontpage).
To start off you can find some nice templates (some similar to poker.com) at oswd.org.
I just checked out the Joomla webpage and that looks awesome. I am gonna have to look further into using that. And to the other post, yes I could recreate their entire site using Dreamweaver but I am looking for something more automated so I can just update the content and not worry about the layout once it is setup.
