I am looking for examples of websites where visitors can by pixels or other types of "virtual real estate."

Obviously the Million Dollar Page is out there but are there any others and specifically any others that sell different kinds of virtual real estate?

I think that this field is very over-saturated now, its too late to jump in on that craze.

Answering your question, I have seen a globe with countries for sale, and similar things done with a map of the U.S.

i have wwww.joomlaspots.com

i made it just to see where it goes,
and it did well. I have PR5 and most of the sites that i have listed after the last update have pr's from 3 to 8, an average of 4.3 if i recall correctly.

Nevertheless i agree with others, its a way to start but there is no dep future in it.
Now i think i ll change it to a Joomla directory.
