| vbadvanced - Worth Installing Anyone currently using this CMS actually feel it's useful?. I have tried getting help on their boards with the install but never get a response.
My problem is I can get it to install just fine but when I goto the index page none of my forum categories show up. I have followed the install instructions to a T but everytime none of my forums show up.
If anyone of you have succesfully installed this and would be able to give me a hand I will find some way to pay you back. |

| The default doesn't have a forum category listing on index.php ... That's what the forum's for.
Or, are you saying that your actual forum categories have disappeared? |

| Sorry should have been more clear. My forum is my root/top level page. Basically the same way this place is setup. Type in the domain and boom your here at the forum.
However when I install vbadvanced it installs fine but then the
Main Catgory
--Forum Name
threads no longer appear. I've never really worked with vbadvanced before but I should be able to install it into the root shouldnt I? Or would I have to create an actual /forums dir? |

| I have installed it and I found it to be a pain in the butt. I went to mkportal for one site and joomla for another. |

| I think joomla is good for beginners mainly because its not complicated to use whatsoever.. but mind yourself.. if you use joomla get your own design skinned because the themes you find are horrid
