| Apache HELP please
Hey
i am trying to install apache mysql and php on my pc
i tried installing them seprately but it dint work so i uninstalled Apache and installed EASYPHP which has everything in it but i am getting this error fpr APACHE:
Apache cannot be runned: another Web Server use the Web port
is there a way of checking what is running? and 2 free htat port? or something
i have windows firewall DISABLED so thats not a problem

| I'd make sure IIS isn't running. Given that you're running windows, that's pretty likely.
Grab a copy of TCPView from Sysinternals.com (freeware) and see what the exe is using the port.
If you're not running the server on port 80, what port are you running it on? | |

| its okay now..i just reinstalled windows and tried it again and runs fine now lol | |
