Looking on the internet there are not many directory forums out their. I am thinking about making one. What are your ideas?

no, Like we have webmaster forums which allow you to talk about webmastering. A directory forum just to talk about them. you get the idea? Like SEO forums or Domain forums

There aren't many forum directories out there like http://www.big-boards.com so I think developing one would be a good idea.

Well I have started http://directory-owners.com Will be the domain name, I have checked and no TM issues. I am not going to be using XMB I am going to be buying VB but what do people think of the section of the forum so far?
This is just a template for my ideas

it could work as most directories I've seen doesn't have any forums you could provide a free forum services for them (just another forum) on your forums and have them link to it on their frontpages and then they can access it as admin or mod themselves ie just like getpaidforum.net is providing free forum to gpt (get paid to) sites. on it they can discuss broken links, people having hard time submitting, etc. hth

Don't do it! Directories are WAY over done. I can't wait til this phase passes. It is getting as annoying as $1,000,000 sites off of mini-pixel advertising. Along with this phase is search engines and proxy sites. Will someone think of a new, better, fresh idea?

If you go and search fir forums just for directory owners then you will only find one other! I think this is a good idea so I am going to give it a go.
