What Should I Do With a Domain I Bought?
I recently bought the domain MJHQ.com for $25. It was a PR 3 Michael Jackson website called Michael Jackson Headquarters.

What should I do with the name?
1. Buy the content of the old website, including the forum with over 2,000 registered members, optimize it for SEO and adsense, and make some money from it.
2. Turn it into a Michael Jordan fan website.
3. Turn it into a job help website called My Job Headquarters.

If you have the time, could you also appraise my name? Did I get a good deal on the name or should I have payed less?

Well, a job website would definitely bring in more money for you in my opinion, and it's a better domain for that sort of site too.

But obviously, it would take a lot more of your time in building & maintenance than a Jordan or Jackson site.

Well, the easiest option for making money would be to continue running the forum and try adsense, assuming there are still active members and the traffic continues to grow.

probably not too many of those 2000 registered members are really active, but the domain is good enough for MJ and MJ, but I do think My Jobs Headquarters sounds a little cheap. Ah well.

I decided to turn it into My Job Headquarters. I would have had to pay for the Michael Jackson content if I wanted it and friends and family would think I was strange if I ran a Michael Jackson fan website.

Both MJs are also very low paying keywords and not as popular as they once were. Job and career related keywords pay much better.
