Does anyone here use or did try MediaWiki?

My webhost uses DirectAdmin as control panel and MediaWiki can be installed at one click. I would like to hear some comment about it.

I used Media wiki. It is a good script. You can see my wiki at www.hpinteractive.com/wiki

I tryed using it for sometime with my nintendo wii site. It installs very easily, but I never liked the ACP. There is really no admin panel, it was hard to navigate.

I have a couple of wiki domains that I would like to start doing something with. I've hesitated in the past because I've heard that there are some security issues involved and that they attract spammers. Have these issues been cleared up?
