Question Search (is it possible)

Hi All.
I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if i'm entering this thread in the wrong forum.

I have taught myself web design for quite a while now and i mainly use HTML but sometime do some work in FrontPAge or DrewmWeaver.

The site that i have created is for a Brass Band.
In one part of the site i have a music page. On this page are the letters of the alphabet - you click on a letter and it takes you to all pieces of music that the band has (2000+ pieces) beginning with the chosen letter.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/website-development/20047-search-is-it-possible.html
What I was hoping to do (if it's possible) is add some kind of searh that enables the viewer to type in the piece of music they are looking for, rather than them having to go through all the pages. If we have this certain piece of music, it will take you to where it is, if not, you could maybe have an option of e-mailing the band suggesting that they may want to get this particular piece (you catch my drift?)
It's similar to the serach the ebay has - you type the name of the item that you are looking for and then, if it has it, it will take you to that page.

Can anybody please offer me some information on how i may be able to do this.

Many Thanks

Maybe you could use a free search tool for your own site, like the one from Google.com
