| Out of all your domains, how many do you develop? Just wanting to see if I'm "up to par" with all the domainers and big guys in the domaining world. Out of all of your domain names, how many do you currently have developed?
Are they all the same category?
What about income? Are all of them making small amounts of revenue, but then it adds up to a lot? Or do you just have one booming website that pays all of your bills?

| I have 10 domains now. 9 are developed and 1 needs work. I just don't find the time since my other sites and the clients are eating all my time .. and my normal job too. I am buying domains when I want to develop a site, I don't "collect" them. I have domains about design, martial arts, music, movies, women. |

· #4 | | NamePros Regular | I've got 350+ domain names and no sites. They are all parked. I will be taking my 10 best and developing them. I'm looking for someone to help me in the development phase. I don't know much about website design but I can pick some good names ie: hdgaming.com, electronictraffic.com, tldhosting, websitehacker.com, websitehackers.com, phishfighter.com, phishfilter.com, phishware.com, and antiphishware.com. I've got alot more good ones.
The parking revenue isn't the greatest, so I will try to develope some of these. |

| About 115 or so developed into something more than a parking page. So, that would be about 5% developed. I'm quite sure I'll never get around to even half of them, but I suppose I can keep that as a goal. |

| Depends on your definition of develop. Most of my names have content, however many of them pull data from the same database and serve targeted content.
If you're talking about a unique package developed for only that name I'd say about 5%. |

| With all of your developed sites.. Do you make your income by advertising programs such as AdSense, Yahoo, or Clicksor? Or do you generate income by sales?
Which is most effective?

| Yeah, I used to have a proxy but my host shut it down because it ate up too much resources.
Just to contribute to my own thread...
I have about 14 domains and 7 of them are developed with unique content that I wrote. Making a solid income off of Google.. right now I'm hoping to be accepted by Yahoo because I heard they pay a little better.
What types of sites (besides proxies) do you find most effective for returning visitors (besides forums) and generate a nice amount of revenue?

| Last year I revised my strategies. My new slogan is 'if it's good enough for me to reg, it's good enough to develop'. So I trimmed off all the excess fat (sold what I could, let drop the rest/useless, renewed and dev'ed the very few that remained). So right now I own 5 domains (used to have 80 at times), 3 are developed, and the other 2 which I just got are going to be "dealt with" soon (rubs hands).
But I don't know how much further I can take this myself - coming up with new content for those sites while promoting them and developing new ones AND on top of that dealing with my daily life (university is killing me!) is getting increasingly harder. |

| I would say about 50% of my domains have some sort of content, but I would only consider about 10% are actually completed sites. All of my sites except one are content based and make their revenue via Adsense or YPN.

| Out of all of the sites that you guys have developed... how many do you maintain daily or weekly? I'm not talking about PPC sites or auto-generated articles and content... I'm talking about your own UNIQUE content...

| too many I just started developing my sites since last week. I have >1500 domain names register over 3 months, so first I have to develop a parking page myself. The first version don't have much CTR. Now the second version is up and running. Much better CTR and much uglier. I am thinking the next one now.
Cheers. |

| I was a real "collector" before, I have registered/acquired many domains. Now I'm focusing on developing them. So far 5% of my domains are developed. |
