So what kind of hosting do I need to have a proxy site? What are the cost of this type of hosting? What do I need to know about a proxy site before starting one up?

Hey Travis,

You will need at least a VPS server to host a proxy site. Almost any VPS will do, as they all will be running high on memory all the time. Dedicated would be ideal though .

IMHO you should use http://www.phproxy.com and once installed, install this mod on it to prevent hotlinking, which can save tonnes of bandwidth: http://www.namepros.com/free-resour...-look-here.html

You should have AT LEAST 150gb of bandwidth for the site a month.
