Well basically if you've ever heard of extremepixels.com then you'll know what im ranting on about. Basically i was stuck between putting it in discussion or development on here. But i put it in development because i want to make this site.
Now i am thinking of making a website where i make IPB skins and supply them to the public for free. Basically i'd go for a non-profit showoff which people can take advantage of. Just wondering how many people would actually use any skins which i would provide.
If there nice, I would use them definately. If they are more classic and plain, I would still probaly use them. Nothing outrageous. Depends really what you are offering. Of course its free, why not

I skin for IPB and once owned a very small free skinning site. Skins are what people want and there are so many forums out there that it's a good chance of being very successful provided that there are numerous, well-designed skins and discussion and support to go with them. You might also want to include a Paypal donate button, there are generous people that use free skins that will donate.

Thanks for the nice input, yeah it's just an idea at the moment, first i have to get other things sorted, eg. my forum and so on. Basically i have the easter holidays soon and it could be a good project to work on ^_^ Ill keep your feedback in ming
Great, you already have a memberbase to work with if you base it off your forum. I agree that it would be a good project to work on during a holiday break, I usually do that on long weekends.
