![]() | I used GoLive years ago. Even used PageMill before Adobe bailed on their first attempt. GoLive never measured up for me. One an HTML editting program starts arbitrarily altering my code, it gets on the "list" of ones to avoid (like FrontPage). ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/website-development/17360-macromedia-dreamweaver-vs-adobe-golive.html I use NoteTab most of the time (never quite liked EditPlus), but for visual editting, nothing comes close to the ease and sophistication of DreamWeaver. It kicks everyone's tuckus. As an example, one thing GoLive did early on was to use no standard elements ( the SPACER tag) to absolutely position items on a page (they had this whole GRID feature that seemed misguided). DreamWeaver simply used DIV tags. The result was that GoLive produced almost completely undecipherable code with its technique. DreamWeaver has never gone done such nasty roads that I've seen. ~ Nexus

I just easily get use to them, I don't know about other people, but I found that I can do a lot of things with them. So I just keep on using them until now ![]() Maybe it's time for me to try out Dreamweaver, who know I will discover something special there and keep using it !! ========================================== ========================================== I am "almost" "Adobe all the way" too (PS, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).. but between them, it's Dreamweaver. ----------nicholas---------- Hi Nicholas, finally I found someone who "Adobe all the way" ! ha ha.. but what is the reason you don't want to use GoLive? since you choose to use most of Adobe product. ==========================================
