My Image Host Site, how much you think it's worth?

Hello everyone,
Well i have an image hosting site that is getting about 200,000 page views per month (About 100,000 uniques per month). It gets about 100 images uploaded each day. It only uses about 3gb bandwidth/day and its running on a $55 VPS server, but I host another 10 sites of mine on it too. It requires only about 5 minutes work per day.

It's only grabing between $2 and $5 from AdSense per day though.

It has an Alexa ranking of 1,500,000 or something like that, dont know what it is or if its good lol.

How much do you think I could sell the site for REALISTICALLY? So not theoretically, how much would I get for it if I sold it now?

Well could you tell me how many images you host? But for a site that gets 100 images uploaded every day and get alot of traffic. i would pay about $300 but then its on what script you are using, do other people have this script or is it just you! And also its also on what you allow users to upload. But on what you have said i would pay about $300 but i bet if you added more when selling it may go up

Average of around $300-$500 depending on where you post it. Image Hosting is very fastly going out of style do to the amount of abuse image hosts are receiving.

My suggestion is not to sell it. Invest some amount to develop in such way

1) Make a feature for photo album
2) make a feature for sending greeting pictures
3) Make a feature for giving some amount to most visited pictures to increase the visitors
4) Address book and events reminders
5) Photo auction

After development, you can use your current visitors and get more traffic from other sources.

If you have to sell it at this point then I'd say you're looking at receiving roughly $300 or so for it but to increase the possibly of attracting more potential buyers I'd post the sale thread at more then 1 site.

Giving information on how much storage and the average amount of monthly bandwidth the service uses, will help know what a protienial buyer is looking at. This could variy. the more comfortable or despirate the consumer, the more buck for the bang.

Good luck with sell! I can see this going for $500 or so.If you do an auction, you could start off at $300, and then see how it goes.

you would take about $500-600 becasue there will always be somebody that just WANTS IT!!

I'd probally pay $500ish because you can squeeze alot more money out of that traffic, firstly fastclick cpm ads, add more features and sell ad space, etc..
