Talking Standardized Emoticon Codes Organization (SECO)

I'm sick of moving from forum to forum only finding out I need to learn new emoticon codes and get used to new images - each one functions differently. Just to make the type emoticon you need to figure out which code does this:

B)
8)
or the standard NamePros version, : cool :

Plus some have others as I've seen:

:glasses:
:shades:
:l33t:

This is ridiculous! I can't memorize all these!

I want to start an organization called the Standardized Emoticon Codes Organization, which will allow forum owners to register and adjust their forums to abide by the standardized codes. They get to have an icon and instantly the people know how quickly they can type their posts without having to click with javascript and stuff.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/website-development/135191-standardized-emoticon-codes-organization-seco.html

Who's with me on this!

UPDATE

I've decided that instead of just emoticons, make it the "Association of Standardized Community Forums", or ASCF. I may make a new name, but it could be where things are configured the same so that you would know, by an icon on the site, that it was a quality and easy-to-use, standardized, friendly forum...

Anybody like this idea?
