Right fellow webmasters! I need ideas!
OK, i'm starting a members area on my site www.myfileminder.com, what member benefits could I have? I was thinking of:

1) their own folder, eg members.myfileminder.com/their_username/ as opposed to www.myfileminder.com/uploads/members/

2) no file renaming, eg filename.gif as opposed to randomnumber_filename.gif

3) files can be 10x larger

4) can delete files that they dont want any more

5) can uplaod 5 files at once.

anyone got any more ideas? keep it in mind that I am a really bad PHP programmer so nothing too complex.

Your idea is good, but as mentioned, the colors are not. Everything is hard to read. I'd change the overall design of the site to make it more appealing.

You might want to choose another color set for your site. Light teal on white BG is really hard to read.
Otherwise, your ideas for the members' area are quite good IMO

Remove the ad on top, change the color. Well i think you just need a whole new design.
