Hosting/index.html Mystery
I was having email probs w/ an acct w/ a domain on a dedicated server. I temporarily switched over to a hosted acct at GoDaddy, (the registrar), until the issue was resolved. I changed DNS back to the dedicated server 3 das ago and FTPd a new index.html page, (file shows in public_html in Direct Admin panel), but the page is still resolving to a GoDaddy "Coming Soon" index pg. However, when I type the name in w/o the ".www" ie http://httpaddress.com it resolves to the correct index page. However, check out http://www.httpaddress.com !! The DNS shows correctly and I receive email on the dedicated server for the acct.

Any ideas about how or what is making this happen??

PS I cancelled the hosting and the email acct at GoDaddy 3 das ago and my GoDaddy acct reflects this.

Both with and without the www resolve to the same page here. Clear your cache and try again.
