Free appraisals by Computer - not another person? Good idea?
Hi,
Just wondering if this idea is good at all:
You would type your domain in a textbox, then type .com, .net, etc.
A PHP script then searches for particular keywords of your domain (using the domain you typed) in several places, OVT, Google, etc... then going by # of results creates a value for the domain.
Alternatively, you could check the box "Developed" and type how many hits, and montly revenue, and get a developed appraisal.
Sound like a good idea? What other sites have done it? I'm sure it's been done, but I want to make a better one
Oh, and they'd be free.
So good idea?
Cheers,
-Matt

I think bias and personal opinions are what makes forum appraisals good. It stinks when they just write "regfee" instead of explaining themselves, though.

one more thing, it would be more useful if you can flag the one that already exist because the tool would be more useful before you buy the domain.
Also more value is added if you can flag TM violations.
