MySQL or PHP problem

i think i have a problem on my server, i had a problem with a forum i installed, where the tables that display the posts.... we're all empty

i thought it was a forum problem, but i was installing a different app today and have the same problem

is the version of php out of date or something?

No the version is fine
Maybe your installing it the wrong way or you messed up with the Database Permission settings...

you sure you have the SQL files uploaded via phpmyadmin ? or have set permissions for the database to be accessed?

i been taking a browse through the database and the forum posts are in there..... but they're not being displayed in the table..... also if you take the direct link to a forum post it shows up, it just doesn't display in the table... i'll show ya in a min

PS: The problem was there before i added the theme.... my hope was that adding the theme may fix the prob

also, the member profiles work perfectly fine

i deleted the database and made another, and i reinstalled the forum...... still no better!

The one thing i hate with PHPBB is if you mess about to much your whole forum goes:

KABOOOOM!!

...its not phpBB, and the problem is also on other apps too

the forum in question will be installed on a different server anyway, its just starting to piss me off that i can't install stuff on my current server
